Job Description

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will bring practical experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, trucks and similar plant or equipment.

A High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation will be highly regarded.
You will hold a Certificate II qualification or have equivalent hands-on experience relevant to the role.
Previous experience working with machinery, plant operations, feedmill activities, pads and pens will be valuable.
Experience with bunk sweep operation is desirable.
You will be confident operating a range of equipment and systems, including:
- Bobcats, scrapers, loaders, side tippers and water trucks
- Machinery hygiene processes
- Plant and equipment controls and operating systems
You will also have effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others to meet the requirements of day-to-day operations.
You will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality assurance, accurate record keeping and safe work practices.
We are looking for someone who lives our Values and contributes positively to the workplace culture.
You will be expected to take reasonable care for your own health and safety, follow reasonable directions, policies and procedures, and report incidents and hazards promptly.
A current ‘C’ class driver’s licence is required for this role.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment health assessment.
