ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will bring practical experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, trucks and similar plant or equipment.
- A High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation will be highly regarded.
- You will hold a Certificate II qualification or have equivalent hands-on experience relevant to the role.
- Previous experience working with machinery, plant operations, feedmill activities, pads and pens will be valuable.
- Experience with bunk sweep operation is desirable.
- You will be confident operating a range of equipment and systems, including:
- Bobcats, scrapers, loaders, side tippers and water trucks
- Machinery hygiene processes
- Plant and equipment controls and operating systems
- You will also have effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others to meet the requirements of day-to-day operations.
- You will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality assurance, accurate record keeping and safe work practices.
- We are looking for someone who lives our Values and contributes positively to the workplace culture.
- You will be expected to take reasonable care for your own health and safety, follow reasonable directions, policies and procedures, and report incidents and hazards promptly.
- A current ‘C’ class driver’s licence is required for this role.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment health assessment.
