Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Pizza Take Away and Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced pizza pickup and delivery business.

This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who thrives under pressure and can confidently manage busy periods where orders are coming through continuously, customers are waiting for pickups, and delivery orders need to be prepared and dispatched quickly and accurately.

You will be responsible for keeping the entire operation running smoothly — from taking and coordinating orders, managing kitchen production and staff, monitoring delivery times, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring every order meets our standards for quality, accuracy, and speed.Posibilty to get sponsorship for right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the restaurant during busy pickup and delivery periods
Coordinate high volumes of takeaway, pickup, and delivery orders
Ensure orders are prepared accurately, efficiently, and on time
Manage the flow of orders between the front counter, kitchen, and delivery team
Prioritise orders and adjust operations during peak periods
Coordinate delivery drivers and ensure orders are dispatched promptly
Monitor delivery and pickup times to minimise delays
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and delivery issues professionally
Lead and motivate staff in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Allocate staff to different areas of the operation according to demand
Ensure kitchen staff maintain consistent food quality and production speed
Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient ingredients and packaging are available
Manage opening and closing procedures
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace safety
Monitor labour costs, food costs, waste, and overall operational efficiency
Manage POS systems, cash handling, online orders, and daily reporting
Train new team members and maintain high performance standards
Identify operational problems quickly and take action to resolve them
Work closely with owners/management to improve sales, service, and profitability

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a busy takeaway, pizza, fast-food, or delivery-focused restaurant.

You must be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment where speed, accuracy, communication, and teamwork are essential.

You will need to be:

Fast, organised, and decisive during busy service periods
Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities at once
Calm and professional under pressure
Confident leading a team during peak trading periods
Strong at coordinating kitchen, counter, pickup, and delivery operations
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working with online ordering and POS systems
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Reliable, punctual, and willing to lead by example
Hands-on and prepared to jump in wherever needed

The Right Person

This role is not a desk-based management position. We need someone who is hands-on and enjoys being actively involved in the operation.

During busy periods, you may be coordinating orders, helping the kitchen, assisting customers, organising drivers, resolving delivery issues, and making sure the team stays focused and productive.
