Full Job Description

As a Vehicle Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling vehicles and fitting a range of components and accessories in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications. You will work as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Assemble vehicle components and accessories.
Install vehicle equipment, trims, and mechanical components.
Read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documentation.
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
Identify and report defects or quality issues.
Meet production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Previous experience in vehicle assembly, automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred .
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated.

Gemcan Auto Body is located in Corio. Work hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,036.92 – $2,001.00 per week

Experience:

Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
Panel / Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Required)

Work Location: In person
