As a Vehicle Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling vehicles and fitting a range of components and accessories in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications. You will work as part of a team to ensure all vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Assemble vehicle components and accessories.
- Install vehicle equipment, trims, and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret assembly instructions and technical documentation.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report defects or quality issues.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience in vehicle assembly, automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or a similar industry is preferred .
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
Gemcan Auto Body is located in Corio. Work hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm.
