About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Field Sales Representative / Assessor to join our growing team. In this role, you'll visit customers' homes to assess their eligibility for solar, battery storage, air conditioning, and heat pump upgrades, present tailored proposals, and guide customers through to a confident sale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people face-to-face, has a genuine interest in renewable energy, and thrives in a target-driven, autonomous role.
What You'll Do
Conduct on-site visits to assess customer eligibility for solar, battery, air conditioning, and heat pump systems under government rebate schemes (VEU, Solar Victoria)
Evaluate site suitability, including roof condition, switchboard capacity, and existing systems
Prepare and present clear, accurate proposals tailored to each customer's needs and eligibility
Follow up on leads and proposals in a timely, professional manner
Close sales and guide customers through the next steps in the installation process
Maintain accurate records of assessments, proposals, and customer interactions
Stay up to date on VEU and Solar Victoria program requirements and eligibility criteria
Represent Climate Green professionally and build trust with customers in their homes
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in field sales, door-to-door sales, or a customer-facing assessment role (solar, energy, or home improvement industry experience highly regarded)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
Confident presenting information and closing sales
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and territory
A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Comfortable with a role that involves regular travel to customer homes across Melbourne
Basic technical understanding of solar, battery, or HVAC systems is a plus, but not essential — full training provided

Pay: $1,000.00 – $4,883.05 per week
