The Opportunity
KBR is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO). This role will provide critical data analysis, financial reporting, and project management support to enable informed decision-making and successful delivery of Defence capability outcomes.
As part of the Project Management Services and Support team, the Data Analyst will work closely with project managers, sub-project teams, and program stakeholders to analyse financial and resource data, maintain reporting systems, and support governance activities across the GWEO Enterprise.
Responsibilities:

Supporting project managers with cost estimation, financial analysis, and project performance reporting.

Conducting resource analysis and management support, including accounting activities, data analysis, reporting, and maintenance of mandated project management systems.

Providing resource management support to JP2087 sub-project teams.
-
Supporting GWEO Enterprise program management outcomes through accurate data analysis and reporting.

Undertaking financial analysis of approved program contract data against Additional Estimate (AE) and Budget Estimate (BE) approved budgets.

Supporting the development and submission of Additional Estimate and Budget Estimate documentation, including consolidation of sub-project data and budget inputs.

Assisting project teams with monthly management of approved finances against project budgets and Integrated Investment Program (IIP) allocations.

Supporting program governance activities, including preparation of monthly reporting deliverables.

Preparing the Monthly Program Performance Report, with a focus on program financial health, trends, risks, and opportunities.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
-
Experience in data analysis, financial analysis, project controls, or project management support within a complex organisation.
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, resource, and performance data.
-
Experience supporting Defence programs, government projects, or large-scale capability programs (highly desirable).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis and reporting tools.
-
Experience with project management, financial management, or enterprise reporting systems.
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
