We need an experience and extremely well organised Electronic Equipment Trades Worker with excellent eye of detail to join our cetrally based Sydney Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company

IMMEDIATE START - Full time Position - Morning/Afternoon Shift

Reporting to the Production Manager the Electronic Equipment Trades Worker must be skilled in the following areas:

Installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair and calibration of industrial process control systems and instrumentation at ENI Industries
Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
Installing electronic instruments and control systems
Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems
Calibrate electrical or electronic equipment and instruments according to technical manuals and written instructions
Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Perform and/or oversee troubleshooting and maintenance necessary to keep observing instruments operating at their peak efficiency on a daily basis
Perform modifications to improve performance or operating efficiency of observatory instruments/ sensors
Modify electronic/electrical assemblies as required, according to schematic drawings
Perform shop maintenance, which includes repair, maintenance and calibration of test equipment, testing of spare parts
Update documentation of all types: schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, maintenance logs, instruction manuals, etc., to keep documentation ready for use as needed

Salary is $1,215.00 per week
Hours 6am to 4pm
