Farnese Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full Time Service Technician to join our team based in Ingleburn NSW - 38hrs p/w
Reporting to the Services Manager, this is a hands-on, permanent role where you will play a key part in machine installations, preventive and breakdown maintenance. You will work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, servicing machinery such as CNC Machine Centres, Bridge Saws, Block Saws, and Jib / Gantry Cranes.
This role offers variety and the opportunity to work both autonomously and within a team. While qualifications are not essential, any mechanical or electrical aptitude will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
- Install, modify, maintain and repair complex and highly sophisticated electronic instruments and control systems which involve a combination of electrical, electronic and hydraulic and pneumatic principals.
- Install and service equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Interpret electrical drawings and perform diagnostic checks.
- Liaise with clients to understand and address service requirements.

Essential Criteria
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical concepts and drawings.
- Ability to install, modify, maintain and repair complex and highly sophisticated electronic instruments and control systems which involve a combination of electrical, electronic and hydraulic and pneumatic principals.
- Previous experience in machinery preventive maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
- Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current driver's licence.
- Minimum of less than 1 year of machinery preventive maintenance experience required.
- Ability to interpret basic electrical symbols and drawings required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Electrical fault-finding experience.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems.
- Experience with CNC machine technology and operation.
- Background in the stone industry, manufacturing, or machinery service.
Renumeration: $85,000 - $105,000 + Super for the right candidate.
