Employment Type - Term Time - Permanent - 35 hours per school week (with additional varied hours as required)

Salary Range: School Officer - Level 4 ($36.98 - $38.14 Gross per hour)

St Gerard Majella School, Woree

St Gerard Majella School is a co-educational Catholic primary school in the Cairns southern suburb of Woree. With a healthy enrolment of around 400 students from Prep to Year six, the school has always been a highly regarded and well-sought-after Catholic primary school.

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to be the welcoming first point of contact for the school community while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy primary school. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support, maintaining efficient office systems, and assisting with a range of school processes to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

The position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, a professional and friendly approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and visitors. Working closely with the Principal, leadership team, teachers, and school support staff, the Administration Officer will help create a welcoming, efficient, and faith-filled environment that supports student learning and well-being.
