Trumar Truck & Marine is seeking an experienced and capable Bookkeeper / Office Administrator / PA to join our growing team in Bunbury. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and enjoys variety in their day — all while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance.

About the RoleYou’ll be the go-to person for administrative, financial, and operational coordination, working closely with the Directors and external accountants. This role includes liaising with government departments for apprenticeships, incentives, and trade licenses, ensuring smooth business operations, and assisting with day-to-day management.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Finance
Data entry of invoices, purchase orders, inventory, and staff timesheets
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
Process BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax.
Proficient use of MYOB AccountRight and Single Touch Payroll
Liaise with external accountants and manage ATO-related tasks
Prepare accounts to trial balance and manage journal entries

Office Administration Duties

Answer phone calls, manage email correspondence, and take job bookings
Filing of documents, invoices, purchase orders, and service sheets.
Support directors with to-do lists, scheduling, and daily operations.
Maintain staff records, leave calendars, and HR-related documentation.
Liaise with relevant government departments regarding apprenticeships, applying for government incentives/rebates, and other trade-related schemes
Apply for or renew compulsory trade-related government licenses as required.
Organise services such as hydrocarbon/oil removal and other trade hire requirements Assist in developing systems and processes to streamline operations
Competent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Customer Service:

Deliver excellent service in person and over the phone
Maintain professional and positive client relationships
Handle enquiries and bookings efficiently

About You:

Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping/admin/PA role.
Excellent MYOB and payroll skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and high organisational ability.
Strong communication and people skills.
Able to work independently and take initiative
