About the role

This role supports the Manager Finance Business Partnering to provide financial performance related services for specific business areas across West Moreton Health (WMH) and can be rotated across different areas of the business periodically.

This role also provides periodic financial management and performance reporting support by negotiating, managing, and maintaining the budgetary, activity and financial plan for these services to maximise the ability to deliver services within the funding constraints approved by Queensland Health

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

Expert knowledge for preparing and monitoring cost centre budgets in a complex environment.
Proven high level ability to identify financial risk and lead and influence problem resolution and process improvement.
High level organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, with competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiation and influencing skills to ensure effective financial management.
Proven ability to deliver on agreed goals and objectives to required levels.
