Your new role:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Allied Health professional to support an innovative research project within Logan Hospital's Nutrition & Dietetics team. As the Senior Research Officer, you'll play a key role in coordinating research activities that will help co-design a healthy eating and exercise program for Pasifika and Maori adults living with chronic kidney disease, ensuring research findings translate into meaningful improvements in healthcare.

Collaborate with researchers, clinicians and community stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
Provide expert advice on research processes, governance and data management.
Facilitate Talanoa discussions, workshops and community engagement activities.
Contribute to research governance, reporting and dissemination activities.
Support the co-design of a healthy eating and exercise program tailored to community needs.
Apply evidence-based research methodologies and ethical research practices.

About you:
You're an experienced Allied Health professional with a passion for research and improving healthcare through evidence-based practice. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy engaging with diverse communities, and bring strong organisational and analytical skills to every project.

A recognised Allied Health qualification with eligibility for professional registration or membership where applicable.
Experience coordinating or supporting clinical research or quality improvement projects.
Strong understanding of research governance, ethics and Good Clinical Practice principles.
Experience working with people living with chronic kidney disease (highly regarded).
