Full Job Description

Are you an experienced appliance technician or tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and providing professional customer service?

Appliance Connection is a growing, family-owned appliance repair business servicing Moreton Bay City's Metro. We complete repairs across a wide range of leading appliance brands.

We’re not your average trade business. We’ve created a genuine, family-friendly workplace where people are valued, supported and encouraged to deliver quality work with care, integrity and professionalism.

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Appliance Service Technician to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, testing and, where required, installing a range of domestic appliances, including:

Dishwashers
Washing machines
Dryers
Cooktops
Rangehoods
Ovens
Refrigerators and freezers

This is a field-based position with a variety of warranty and private repair work.

Our office team manages bookings, customer communication, parts and job allocation, allowing our technicians to focus on diagnosing faults and completing quality repairs.

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience servicing and repairing domestic appliances
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
A current full/open Australian driver’s licence
The ability to work independently and manage your daily workload
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Reliability, honesty and professional integrity
Care and attention in your workmanship
Confidence using mobile apps and digital job-management systems

You’ll also be a reporting pro who understands the importance of clear, accurate and detailed job notes.

Our AI-assisted job-reporting software helps make reporting faster and easier, but you’ll still need to provide accurate information about the fault, diagnosis, repairs completed, parts used, final test results including photos.

Appliance Servicing Licence
Restricted Electrical Licence
Electrical Licence
Restricted Gas Licence
ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence
Manufacturer appliance training

We also welcome applications from electricians, plumbers and other suitably qualified tradespeople with domestic appliance installation or repair experience.
