The Opportunity
As a Roving Maintenance Officer , you will provide maintenance support, compliance oversight and leave coverage across Aeralife's New South Wales residences.
Working alongside Residence Managers, the Property team and Maintenance Manager, you will ensure facilities remain compliant, operational and presented to a standard that reflects the premium quality of our aged care communities.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Travel across New South Wales residences providing maintenance coverage
- Conduct building audits and quality inspections
- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance works
- Assist with painting, repairs and minor building projects
- Maintain fire safety compliance requirements
- Manage equipment testing and tagging programs
- Monitor asset registers and maintenance records
- Coordinate approved contractor works
- Review building issues and report maintenance risks
- Support room readiness for resident admissions
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Participate in quality improvement activities and operational objectives
- Maintain safe handling and storage of tools, equipment and materials
About You
You are a reliable, practical and customer-focused maintenance professional who enjoys delivering high standards across multiple locations. You are comfortable working autonomously and have a strong commitment to safety, quality and service excellence.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Demonstrated experience in building maintenance, facilities or property services
- Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience
- Knowledge of WHS obligations and compliance requirements
- Experience using maintenance equipment and tools safely
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Computer literacy and administration skills
- Ability and willingness to travel across New South Wales
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- COVID-19 vaccination status (highly recommended)
