About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated sales professional to manage and grow an established customer portfolio across Bendigo, Shepparton and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Sales Manager - Regional, this is an ‘on the road’ sales position working from a home-based office. You will have the freedom to plan your week, identify new opportunities, deliver practical solutions and achieve strong commercial outcomes, with the backing of NHP’s reputation and broad product range.
Depending on your background and experience, your portfolio may include wholesalers, end users, contractors and switchboard builders. You will work across industries including Food & Beverage, Irrigation, Water / Waste Water, Mining and Utilities, partnering with consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver complete Electrical Solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the market, wants to make a visible impact locally and is motivated by a culture where ownership, accountability, teamwork and results are valued.
Ideally you will have / be:
- Electrical, Industrial Automation or strong technical sales experience/background
- Proven experience in sales, business development, new business generation or key account management within a commercially focused environment
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across a broad network
- Excellent listening skills to understand customer requirements
- Self-motivated, persistent and driven to achieve strong commercial outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and stay organised while covering a broad geographic area
