We’re looking for an entrepreneurial FRP Sales Representative to help expand our presence across Australia. About the Role

This is a hands-on commercial role with a strong entrepreneurial focus. You’ll lead the growth of Beyond Materials’ FRP project sales across Australia by developing a strong project pipeline, securing early product interest, driving sales growth, and helping build the commercial foundations for our continued expansion.

You’ll engage with consultants, contractors, precasters, distributors and asset owners to position our BlackBar FRP solutions and win business in a competitive construction market.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll enjoy a high degree of autonomy while working within a collaborative and supportive organisation. The position is preferably based in Sydney, NSW and requires regular travel across Australia.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Project Identification and Opportunity Management

Independently identify, qualify and develop project opportunities across Australia for the Beyond Materials – BlackBar FRP product range.
Build and maintain a clear, forward-looking project pipeline prioritised by stage and strategic value.
Engage early with decision-makers to create opportunities and influence product selection.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to support budgeting, inventory planning and growth targets (approx. 25% year-on-year).

2. Client Engagement and Solution Selling

Build strong relationships with consultants, Tier-1 and Tier-2 contractors, precasters and distributors.
Deliver clear, commercial presentations that highlight the practical benefits, constructability advantages and long-term value of BlackBar FRP products.
Translate customer needs into suitable product solutions and support the sales process through to order.
Capture market feedback to help refine product positioning and commercial approach.

3. Sales Strategy and Execution

Contribute to and execute the Australian FRP sales strategy, balancing direct project sales with partner-led activity.
Prepare competitive pricing and commercial proposals aligned with margin expectations and risk guidelines.
Own sales targets for Australia and take accountability for revenue delivery and sustainable margins.

4. Distribution Partner Management & Market Development

Manage and grow relationships with existing Australian distribution partners.
Support partners with product knowledge, joint project pursuit and opportunity tracking.
Identify and recommend additional partners to expand market coverage.
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear reporting on pipeline health, key wins/losses and market activity.

5. Business Development & Brand Building

Represent Beyond Materials – BlackBar at industry events, seminars, exhibitions and client meetings.
Build long-term relationships with key consultants, contractors, asset owners and industry contacts that support ongoing market growth.

About You

You’ll likely bring:

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within construction, building materials, reinforcement, or related industrial products.
A track record of identifying opportunities, building pipelines and closing deals.
Existing relationships with consultants, contractors or infrastructure stakeholders in Australia (highly regarded).
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Willingness to travel regularly across Australia.
Willingness to learn the technical and commercial benefits of FRP products (full product training provided).
