About the Role
Gateway Health is seeking an experienced technology leader to provide strategic and operational leadership across digital technology, cyber security, information management and ICT services. This is a critical leadership role that will influence organisational strategy while ensuring technology enables high quality, safe and efficient services for our communities.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the delivery of Gateway Health's technology roadmap, strengthen cyber resilience, champion data governance and drive innovation and transformation across the organisation.
As the Senior Lead Technology (Digital Data and Cyber), you will:
- Lead the implementation of Gateway Health's digital and technology strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership across ICT operations, digital infrastructure, enterprise applications and cyber security.
- Champion data governance, information management and business intelligence.
- Lead technology projects that improve organisational capability, efficiency and service delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with executive leaders, managers and external technology partners.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing technology function.
- Ensure technology risks are effectively managed through strong governance and cyber security practices.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve client outcomes, workforce capability and organisational performance.

Skills & Experience
You are an experienced technology leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Data, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise strategy across digital, data, and technology domains within a complex or mid-sized organization.
- A track record of driving practical digital initiatives and organisational change, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable value.
- A strong, applied understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (such as the ACSC Essential Eight), information governance, and enterprise risk management.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across all operational tiers and confidently present strategic roadmaps to a Board of Directors.
Experience within health, community services or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded but is not essential.

- Management & Administrative Officer Grade 7-8 ($128,000 to $144,000 base salary), dependent on experience and capability.
