Job Description
How you'll make a difference
This is a full-time, permanent role and can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne

Drive the coordination and management of all resources across the bid lifecycle – EOI, tendering, interview preparation and debriefs to deliver high-quality, large and complex submissions.

Work closely with and influence senior stakeholders and SMEs to translate complex technical offerings into clear value propositions, persuasive messaging and compelling tender, proposal and capability content, starting at the early stages of pursuit and capture planning to help shape winning themes and strategies.

Manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight timeframes, applying exceptional time management, project planning and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Ensure all submissions reflect high editorial quality, client focus, commercial integrity and consistent alignment with AECOM brand and best-practice pursuit standards.

Collaboration across diverse teams, sharing knowledge, leveraging AI tools for enhanced efficiency, and supporting colleagues to elevate their pursuit and proposal capabilities.
Qualifications

8 years + experience in bid or proposal management roles (e.g., Pursuit Partner, Bid & Proposal Partner, Tender Specialist, Proposal Specialist)

Exceptional written, verbal, and client communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines with strong project management capability.

Strong facilitation and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to bring together diverse perspectives, challenge assumptions, and develop differentiated pursuit strategies.
-
Ability to translate dense written content into clear, visually engaging graphics is a valuable bonus, helping bring technical narratives to life for a broader audience.
