Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant to join our busy and friendly dental practice.

About the Role

As a Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide a comfortable, professional and positive experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

Chairside assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms before and after appointments
Sterilisation and maintaining high standards of infection control
Setting up instruments, materials and equipment for procedures
Assisting with dental X-rays where appropriately trained and qualified
Maintaining accurate patient and clinical records
Monitoring and maintaining clinical stock and supplies
Providing friendly and reassuring support to patients
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinical environment
Assisting with reception and general practice duties when required
Working collaboratively with dentists, receptionists and other team members to keep the day running smoothly

About You

Previous dental assisting experience and/or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting would be highly regarded; however, we are also open to the right candidate who has a great attitude and is willing to learn.
