About the Role
As a Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to provide a comfortable, professional and positive experience for every patient.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Sterilisation and maintaining high standards of infection control
- Setting up instruments, materials and equipment for procedures
- Assisting with dental X-rays where appropriately trained and qualified
- Maintaining accurate patient and clinical records
- Monitoring and maintaining clinical stock and supplies
- Providing friendly and reassuring support to patients
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinical environment
- Assisting with reception and general practice duties when required
- Working collaboratively with dentists, receptionists and other team members to keep the day running smoothly

Previous dental assisting experience and/or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting would be highly regarded; however, we are also open to the right candidate who has a great attitude and is willing to learn.

Pay: $33.71 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
