Hilda Care is a specialist disability support provider that is passionate about helping empower our participants to live their best life. We provide support services to NDIS participants.

The role: We have an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Accounts Administrator who is passionate about accounts/bookkeeping with an NDIS Service Provider and has a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing support to the Accounts team
Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Completing set invoicing and payroll tasks
Resolving pay and invoice enquiries
Processing and paying invoices and Bills
Review and approve daily timesheets, and monitor shift notes for accuracy and completeness
Perform partial bookkeeping duties, including data entry, record maintenance, and basic reconciliations
Updating records and entering data into our accounting and scheduling software
Managing NDIS Payment processes and other related activities
Communicate with and manage enquiries from NDIS Participants and Service Providers.
Managing new employee digital paperwork, file compliance and set-up
Assisting with new client digital paperwork, file compliance and set-up
Other ad-hoc administration tasks as required

About YOU: To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:

Experience in Payroll and invoice processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great attention to detail and an excellent level of accuracy
Exceptional customer service skills coupled with patience and commitment
The ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders
A high level of computer literacy with experience using information management systems
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Conscientious work ethic and time management skills
Experience and knowledge using Xero software (desirable)
Ability to work with external Accountant
Values processes and procedures Desirable
Tertiary qualifications in accounting/bookkeeping

Job Type: Full/Part-time hours (CASUAL role)

Pay: $33-37 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 5 hours per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

Point Cook VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
MYOB/Xero: 1 year (Preferred)
Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorization:

Australia (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
