We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our friendly café team.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
Perform various cleaning duties, such as washing dishes, pots, and utensils, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
Operate the dishwasher and ensure all kitchen linen is cleaned and stored.
Maintain impeccable food hygiene and safety practices.
Receive, check, and store stock and supplies.
Assist with general kitchen tasks as needed by the chefs and cooks.
Handle waste disposal and keep bins clean.
Maintain floors, work stations, and equipment.

Skills:

A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good knife skills (an advantage).
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures is beneficial but not always required, as training will be provided.
A positive attitude and a passion for food and the hospitality industry.
