Liquid Waste Truck Driver (HC) | Full-Time

JJ's iconic green and gold fleet of trucks is on the road every day, helping keep our communities clean, safe and moving.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HC Truck Driver to join our Liquid Waste team.

Operating a modern vacuum tanker, you will service commercial and industrial customers by safely collecting, transporting and disposing of liquid waste. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team.

Typical start times are between 4:00am and 6:00am, with earlier starts required when operationally necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a modern liquid waste vacuum truck.
Pump out, transport and dispose of liquid waste in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
Deliver outstanding customer service while representing JJ's professionally.
Complete daily pre-start inspections and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure scheduled work is completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe and professional vehicle at all times.

What You'll Need

Current HC (Heavy Combination) Licence (essential).
Forklift Licence (desirable).
Experience operating vacuum tankers or within the waste management industry is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work independently while managing daily schedules.
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
