About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HC Truck Driver to join our Liquid Waste team.
Operating a modern vacuum tanker, you will service commercial and industrial customers by safely collecting, transporting and disposing of liquid waste. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team.
Typical start times are between 4:00am and 6:00am, with earlier starts required when operationally necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a modern liquid waste vacuum truck.
- Pump out, transport and dispose of liquid waste in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing JJ's professionally.
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure scheduled work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional vehicle at all times.
What You'll Need
- Current HC (Heavy Combination) Licence (essential).
- Forklift Licence (desirable).
- Experience operating vacuum tankers or within the waste management industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently while managing daily schedules.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
