Full Job Description

Diesel & Electric Vehicle Repairs Pty Ltd is currently seeking trade qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join our team on a permanent, full- time role based in our workshop. Currently we have two vacancies at our workshop based at 1727 Botany Rd, Banksmeadow, NSW 2019.

About The Role

You are to perform:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines.
Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and machinery.
Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults.
Rebuild, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings.
Complete job cards, service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the disposal of hazardous material and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic (minimum Certificate III)
With at least 1 year of Automotive experience
Ability to work independently.
A current driver licence (HR or MR desirable but not essential).
Excellent time management and communication skills
Committed and motivated
Professional & excellent customer service experience.
A mature and positive attitude to the job
A switched-on person who is good at multi-tasking
Strong attention to detail

Salary

· salary in the range of $80k to $88k per annum plus, superannuation

· Ongoing training and support

Hours of Work

Full Time - 38 hours per week- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm

Saturday 8.00am to 12pm(overtime)
