Diesel & Electric Vehicle Repairs Pty Ltd is currently seeking trade qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanics to join our team on a permanent, full- time role based in our workshop. Currently we have two vacancies at our workshop based at 1727 Botany Rd, Banksmeadow, NSW 2019.
About The Role
You are to perform:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in diesel engines.
- Perform scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel vehicles and machinery.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential issues before they become major faults.
- Rebuild, replace, and repair engines, transmissions, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and document findings.
- Complete job cards, service reports, and communicate clearly with the team and customers.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the disposal of hazardous material and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic (minimum Certificate III)
- With at least 1 year of Automotive experience
- Ability to work independently.
- A current driver licence (HR or MR desirable but not essential).
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Committed and motivated
- Professional & excellent customer service experience.
- A mature and positive attitude to the job
- A switched-on person who is good at multi-tasking
- Strong attention to detail
Salary
· salary in the range of $80k to $88k per annum plus, superannuation
· Ongoing training and support
Hours of Work
Full Time - 38 hours per week- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm
Saturday 8.00am to 12pm(overtime)
