About Us

Blue Mountains Painting provides professional residential and commercial painting services across regional New South Wales. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Painter Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor to complete painting works across a range of residential and commercial projects.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling, and priming
Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using appropriate tools and equipment
Interpret basic drawings, plans, and job specifications to complete work
Follow instructions and ensure work meets required quality standards
Maintain safe work practices on-site in accordance with WHS requirements
Run a team or work individually if required
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition

Requirements

Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
Own painting tools
Minimum 5 year relevant full-time experience
Knowledge of painting processes, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret job specifications
Ability to work effectively within a team
Good communication skills
White Card required
