Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Painter Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a supervisor to complete painting works across a range of residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling, and priming
- Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using appropriate tools and equipment
- Interpret basic drawings, plans, and job specifications to complete work
- Follow instructions and ensure work meets required quality standards
- Maintain safe work practices on-site in accordance with WHS requirements
- Run a team or work individually if required
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
Requirements
- Certificate III in Painting & Decorating
- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
- Own painting tools
- Minimum 5 year relevant full-time experience
- Knowledge of painting processes, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills
- White Card required
