Skytrans Australia is an Australian airline providing regional Regular Public Transport (RPT), ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), and Charter services, connecting communities across the country. The airline operates a fleet of 11 aircraft, including Dash 8 turboprops and Airbus A319 jets. Skytrans Australia is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, operating 142 aircraft across 6 continents and delivering a wide range of aviation services, supported by over 11,000 professionals across more than 250 subsidiaries worldwide.

About the role
We are seeking to fill one full-time position as B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Airbus A320 series), based at Brisbane Airport.

You will be responsible for:
Whilst working under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and as part of the team of Engineers, this role will typically see you:
- Ensuring maintenance of the Skytrans Australia aircraft is completed and certified in accordance with regulatory, manufacturers and Part 145 MOE requirements
- Ensuring the ongoing serviceability and presentation of company aircraft on a daily basis, carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Researching requirements for upcoming maintenance to ensure availability of parts
- Testing of equipment and tooling
- Rectifications of defects away from base
- Contributing to the safety and quality managements system
- Undertaking corrective rectification of aircraft systems
- Completing scheduled aircraft maintenance
- Completing primary line maintenance activities
- May involve travel to other bases if required

Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their application:
- A valid CASA B2 Licence
- Experience with Airbus A320 series
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures
- Full Manual Driver’s License
- Ability to work effectively as part of a professionally diverse team, but also have the ability to work unsupervised
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
