Help get mindfulness into every Australian classroom

Mindful Meditation Australia is a registered not-for-profit charity working to make meditation and mindfulness available to every child in Australia. We build evidence-based programs for schools that give teachers and students practical tools to manage stress, hold attention, and build emotional resilience.

We're a small team in Cottesloe with programs running in schools across WA and beyond. This year we're launching Mindful Classroom, a complete video-based mindfulness curriculum for Years 1 to 6, and we want it in front of as many schools as we can reach.

That's the job.

THE ROLE

This role exists to grow the number of Australian schools running our programs.

You'll own the digital side of the Mindful Classroom launch: the paid search that captures teachers already looking for wellbeing resources, the email campaigns that reach principals and deputies directly, and the website that turns their interest into a trial or a booking.

This is education-sector marketing, not consumer wellness. Your audience is school leaders, wellbeing coordinators and classroom teachers. Decisions get made across a term, not a session. The work rewards someone who can think about a considered purchase cycle rather than an impulse buy.

There is no marketing team. You would be it.

You'll report to the General Manager, set your own priorities, and own the results. Nobody will hand you a brief each Monday.

That suits someone who wants to build an acquisition engine from scratch and be measured on whether it works.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Core focus

Plan and run paid search and paid social (Google Ads, Meta) targeting school decision-makers, optimising against cost per qualified enquiry
Build and send email campaigns to our school database through our CRM, including nurture sequences for schools at different stages of consideration
Own launch marketing for Mindful Classroom, working with our video and curriculum team to turn program content into campaign assets
Track and report on what's working (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, CRM pipeline data) and make the call on where the next dollar goes

Also part of the role

Improve organic search visibility for the terms teachers and school leaders actually use
Keep our WordPress site current and converting, including campaign landing pages
Maintain an active, credible presence on the social channels where educators spend time
Watch what else is in the market and tell us what we should be doing differently

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential

Demonstrated experience running paid search and paid social with accountability for results, not just execution
Hands-on skill with Google Ads and Meta Business Suite: audience setup, conversion tracking, budget management
Comfort with analytics: you can look at a campaign, work out what the numbers are telling you, and change course
The judgement to work without close supervision, set your own priorities, and tell us when we're wrong
Strong written English, and copy that sounds like a person rather than a brochure
Experience with email marketing platforms and list segmentation

Desirable

Experience marketing to schools, education departments, or another considered B2B purchase
Working knowledge of WordPress and the confidence to edit pages without breaking them
SEO experience, particularly content-led organic growth
Familiarity with monday.com or a comparable CRM
A personal interest in mindfulness, education or mental health

WHAT WE OFFER

THE DETAILS

Hours: Full time, 38 hours per week
Location: Our Cottesloe office (WA 6011). This is an on-site role, four to five days a week, with occasional school visits
Engagement: Ongoing permanent employment, with a six-month probation period and structured performance reviews
Remuneration: $95,000 to $115,000 base plus 12% superannuation. Total package $106,400 to $128,800, depending on experience
Reports to: General Manager
Eligibility: Applicants must hold current Australian work rights
