We are looking for a friendly, compassionate Full time Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our growing practice to assist in delivering exceptional dental care alongside our dentists.

We are looking for a person who works with passion, loves to learn and grow, takes responsibility and strives to provide excellent patient care. The role will suit motivated individuals who strives in a fast paced clinic and wants to pursue a long term career in Practice Management. Key duties for the role include:

- Reception duties – greet patients, manage phone and emails, maintain WHS registers, maintain front desk so that it is always inviting for patients.

- Administrative include process payments, maintain accurate patient records and update practice policies and operating procedures.

- Manage appointment book, patient reminders and manage recalls and rebooking process and cancellations to ensure maximise utilisation of chairs.

- Support clinical team with chairside Assisting, Sterilisation Management, Surgery setup, lab work administration, compliance with infection control protocols.

- Deliver excellent patient care while professionally handling or escalating patient concerns and complaints

- Working with management to implementing new practice programs and refine existing operations.

- Working with management to implement marketing programs, social media management, initiate and respond to reviews, treatment plan management.

Key requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience in reception, dental assisting and dental administration

- Experience in managing appointment book and patient flow to ensure the operations

- Proficiency in Dental 4 Windows, Microsoft programs, comfortable with using computers and social media platforms.

- Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good phone manner.

Desirable

- Dental administration knowledge including good understanding of medical and health funds

- Wants to pursue a career in dental administration/Practice management

- Formal qualifications in Dentistry is desirable but not essential.

Offer

- $30-$35/hr (depending on experience) + Super

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
