About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role within BOQ Finance, where you’ll sit at the centre of deal execution and portfolio performance, helping to bring complex credit transactions to life. In this role, you will own the end-to-end execution and ongoing management of credit submissions, ensuring every submission to line 2 is of a high quality, is commercially sound, and aligned to risk appetite and Policy requirements.
Working in close partnership with Distribution, Credit Risk, and a broad set of internal specialists, you will shape and structure transactions, guiding them from initial concept through to approval. You will bring commercial opportunities into focus—translating deal intent into well-structured, compelling credit proposals and applying thoughtful judgement to risk, security, and overall deal design.
Alongside deal execution, you will aid in the management of key portfolios for BOQ Finance; actively monitoring performance, identifying emerging risks, and uncovering opportunities to strengthen outcomes for both customers and the business. You’ll also play a key role in uplifting how the team operates—driving greater consistency, improving submission quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance turnaround times and efficiency.

About You

You bring strong capability in credit analysis, deal structuring, and crafting high-quality submissions, with the confidence to assess risk and clearly articulate well-reasoned recommendations.

Whether it’s structuring a deal, navigating competing priorities, or resolving challenges, you bring sound judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach that supports both customer and business outcomes.
With a strong understanding of credit policy and risk frameworks, you’re confident operating as a first line of defence—balancing risk discipline with efficiency and momentum. You build credibility quickly, collaborate effectively across teams, and can influence outcomes through clear communication and thoughtful engagement.
You take pride in your attention to detail and consistently deliver to a high standard, even in fast-paced environments.
