Job Description
The Opportunity
Loan Servicing Australia (LSA) is an independent, specialist provider of loan servicing and facility agency solutions, supporting lenders, borrowers and investors across complex loan portfolios and syndicated lending arrangements.
As part of the broader KordaMentha Group, LSA works alongside leading businesses including Kinkora Investments and Real Estate Advisory, providing clients with deep expertise across lending, real estate, restructuring and capital solutions.
We're seeking an experienced Manager – Loan Servicing to join our growing Sydney team and play a key role in the next phase of our journey.
This is more than a traditional agency or loan servicing role; it's an opportunity to help build and shape a growing business from the ground up.
As one of the first major hires into LSA, you'll have the unique opportunity to join at an exciting stage of growth where your contribution will help shape the future direction of the business. You'll gain exposure well beyond day-to-day operations, partnering on client engagements, operational improvement initiatives and strategic growth opportunities.
For someone currently working within a large banking, agency operations or syndicated lending environment, this role offers something increasingly rare: the chance to combine hands-on transaction execution with meaningful influence, visibility and ownership. You won't be one of many layers within a large organisation, you'll be a key contributor working in tandem with experienced industry leaders and helping establish the operational foundations that support future growth.
Reporting to the Head of Loan Servicing, you will manage a portfolio of complex syndicated lending and loan servicing engagements, acting as the central point of coordination between borrowers, lenders and their advisers.
The role spans both Facility Agent and Loan Servicing mandates and requires a commercially minded professional who is comfortable operating autonomously, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Agent Services
-
Manage the setup and ongoing administration of syndicated loan facilities.
-
Act as the key intermediary between borrowers, lenders and professional advisers.
-
Administer drawdowns, repayments, interest collections, fees, amendments, restructures and rollovers.
-
Develop and maintain transaction-specific financial models and reporting.
-
Manage high-value payment transactions, including SWIFT and RTGS payments.
-
Deliver timely and accurate communications, reporting and stakeholder servicing.
-
Support business development initiatives and the evaluation of new Facility Agent opportunities.
Loan Servicing
-
Manage the day-to-day administration of client loan portfolios.
-
Maintain accurate loan records and data integrity across servicing systems.
-
Coordinate loan onboarding, payment processing, rate setting, restructures and discharges.
-
Deliver timely and accurate reporting to clients.
-
Build strong relationships with clients and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
-
Work closely with system vendors and stakeholders to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
-
Support the onboarding and implementation of new client mandates.
Qualifications
About You
You're a lending professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building strong stakeholder relationships and taking ownership of outcomes.
You will bring:
-
Between 3-5 years' experience managing syndicated loans with product knowledge of facility agreements.
-
A strong understanding of syndicated loan structures, processes and market participants.
-
Strong financial modelling, analytical and forecasting capabilities.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
-
The ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
-
A degree in Finance, Economics, Property or a related discipline.
-
Experience gained within major banks, agency teams, trustee operations or specialist loan servicing organisations will be highly regarded.
