Located within The Lakes Hotel in West Lakes, Adelaide, Knots Kitchen and Tunki offer two distinct culinary experiences under one roof.

Knots Kitchen is a vibrant, high-volume restaurant known for its modern Australian cuisine, Asian-inspired flavours and popular traditional carvery, delivering quality dining in a relaxed contemporary setting.

Tunki is Adelaide's premier Nikkei restaurant, blending Japanese precision with bold Peruvian flavours. Featuring premium seafood, exceptional local produce and wood-fired cooking, Tunki has earned an outstanding reputation for delivering a refined and innovative dining experience.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and passionate Chefs at all levels, including Chef de Partie, Demi Chef and Commis Chef, to join our culinary team on a Casual basis.

Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie looking for flexibility, a Demi Chef ready to continue developing your skills, or an ambitious Commis Chef eager to learn from experienced professionals, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional kitchen brigade, gain experience within a range of dining concepts, and build your career with one of Australia's leading hospitality groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with venue standards
Support the kitchen team during food preparation and service
Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all menu items
Assist with mise en place, stock rotation and section organisation
Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards at all times
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Support senior chefs and continue developing your culinary skills

About You:

Previous commercial kitchen experience appropriate to your level (Chef de Partie, Demi Chef or Commis Chef)
Passion for quality food and hospitality
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Sound understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
Flexible availability across a seven-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this role)
