Sakura Health & Wellness is seeking a Casual Administration Officer / Receptionist to join our growing allied health clinic.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while supporting our practitioners and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Sakura Health & Wellness is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic dedicated to supporting our clients' health and wellbeing through compassionate, evidence-based care. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional client experience in a warm, professional, and welcoming environment.

About the Role

This is a casual administration and reception position that will support both our clients and practitioners. The successful applicant will be organised, adaptable, and capable of working independently while managing a variety of administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and manage enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments for practitioners
Maintain accurate client records, including billing and contact information
Assist clients in completing intake forms and other required documentation
Respond to delegated client emails, phone calls, and messages
Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls as required
Provide basic information regarding clinic services and appointments
Maintain client confidentiality through appropriate use of practice management systems and communication channels
Process client payments, including EFTPOS and Tyro transactions
Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and document management
Attend team meetings when required
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception and clinic environment

Strong organisational and time management abilities
The ability to work independently while effectively managing competing priorities
Confidence using technology and learning new systems
A high level of attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture

Desirable (but not essential)

Previous experience in a medical, allied health, or healthcare reception role
Experience using practice management software, particularly Halaxy
Experience processing client payments and managing billing enquiries
