About the role:

Northfleet is seeking a proactive and organised Operations Administrator to support the efficient day-to-day coordination of fleet operations, personnel, and administrative activities pf the Depot. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational compliance, resource scheduling, customer service, and administrative support across the business..

Responsibilities:

Coordinate fleet and personnel movements using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and other communication tools.
Schedule and allocate resources to meet client requirements efficiently and safely.
Maintain operational records, compliance documentation, licences, training registers, and reporting systems.
Coordinate onboarding activities, including new starter documentation, inductions, medicals, and travel arrangements.
Assist with purchase orders, supplier liaison, workshop administration, and document control.
Manage on-hire and off-hire processes for fleet assets.
Liaise with drivers, operators, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.
Ensure all job-related information, permits, and site requirements are communicated accurately.
Support workplace health and safety initiatives and report incidents to the Operations Manager.
Provide general administration and customer service support as required.

About You:

Previous administration or operations coordination experience.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite and excellent computer skills.
Excellent communication ( both written and verbal) and customer service skills.
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Current C Class Driver's Licence

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

Experience within transport, logistics, or hire industries (desirable).
Business Administration qualification (desirable).
Experience using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) (desirable).
