About the role:
Northfleet is seeking a proactive and organised Operations Administrator to support the efficient day-to-day coordination of fleet operations, personnel, and administrative activities pf the Depot. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational compliance, resource scheduling, customer service, and administrative support across the business..
Responsibilities:

Coordinate fleet and personnel movements using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and other communication tools.
- Schedule and allocate resources to meet client requirements efficiently and safely.
- Maintain operational records, compliance documentation, licences, training registers, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new starter documentation, inductions, medicals, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with purchase orders, supplier liaison, workshop administration, and document control.
- Manage on-hire and off-hire processes for fleet assets.
- Liaise with drivers, operators, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Ensure all job-related information, permits, and site requirements are communicated accurately.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives and report incidents to the Operations Manager.
- Provide general administration and customer service support as required.
About You:

Previous administration or operations coordination experience.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite and excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication ( both written and verbal) and customer service skills.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Experience within transport, logistics, or hire industries (desirable).
- Business Administration qualification (desirable).
- Experience using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) (desirable).
