Are you passionate about building a sustainable future? Do you want to contribute to exciting commercial and residential infrastructure in your community? Join our dynamic team at our Newcastle Recycling plant and play a key role in Building Something Great.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for the quality control of construction & demolition material active participation in the day-to-day site operations and safely directing both mobile equipment and vehicles on and off site.

Your day will involve:

Safe operation of mobile crushing & processing plant
Mobile plant basic maintenance & housekeeping
Quality control of demolition waste received at site
Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What are we looking for?

Experience in mobile plant operation (Sales Loader experience desirable)
Recycling experience highly regarded, but not essential
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
Availability to work Monday to Friday
