Full Job Description

Reliability is KEY , We’re looking for an experienced female support worker (client preference) to support our client in a wheel chair with spinal cord injuries in their home. Melton South Area. Shifts Available 7 days per week.

Currently uses:

· Power wheelchair

· Hoist

· TIS commode

Training will be provided to ensure workers are familiar with the participant’s needs and the required equipment.

We require the following shifts to be filled 7 days a week:

9:00 am to 11:00 am – 1 worker
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – 1 worker
7:00 pm to 7:00 am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights

What you’ll do:

Personal & high care including manual handling.
Assist with showering, dressing, meal prep & light house duties
Provide companionship, social support & community access
Consistent, ongoing shifts minimum 2 hours + Shifts vary and can be longer

Pay: $34.00 – $44.00 per hour

Reliability is essential in this role. Our participants rely on consistent, dependable support, so being punctual and committed to your scheduled shifts is a must.

Shifts start from a minimum of 2hours, shifts vary and can be longer, each client is different with their care requirements. Are you happy to pick up shifts for a minimum of 2hours?
Do you have experience in caring for people in a wheelchair and or a qualification in the care sector field? For this particular role you must have experience.
Have you clearly read the job description and meet these client needs along with the requested times of support needed?
