About the role

Reporting into the Product Performance Manager, you will support the delivery of the Own Brand Product Performance Program, helping embed product benchmarking, Quality Attribute Sheet (QAS) and Customer Check activity to improve product quality, competitiveness and customer value perception.

This position would suit a detail-oriented technologist or quality professional who is confident coordinating product assessments, facilitating sessions, engaging stakeholders and producing clear, timely reports.

What you'll be doing

Schedule, set up and facilitate product maintenance benchmarking sessions for new and existing Coles Own Brand products.

Support the QAS program by completing assessments and helping maintain accurate, high-quality QAS documentation.

Coordinate Customer Check sessions and report outcomes that help inform product performance decisions.

Work with Product Developers, Technologists, Category Managers, Quality and suppliers to keep assessment activity moving.

Contribute to continuous improvement, simplification and streamlining of Product Performance Program processes and tools.

About your skills

Experience in product quality, product development, food technology, retail, FMCG or a related technical discipline.

Strong coordination and planning skills, with the ability to manage daily requests and assessment schedules.

Clear, accurate and timely written communication, including reporting and documentation.

Confidence facilitating sessions, conducting product evaluations and applying best practice processes.

A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external suppliers.
