Full Job Description

BOOK KEEPER Job Description

Manufacturing Company seeking for experience Book Keeper to join our dynamic team. The position can be part time of minimum 3 days week, or full time position. Working hours can be negotiated with the right candidate. We are looking for well rounded, dependable, experience professional who we can rely on. Experience in manufacturing organisation is well preferred but not essential.

Qualification and Experience

Qualification in accountancy degree or diploma from a recognised education institution.
Qualified Bookkeeper with appropriate studies and completion of approved course.
Preferable have experience in a manufacturing environment.
MYOB Experience is essential.
SAP Business One experience or similar manufacturing & accounting software are preferable.
Experience with foreign currency transactions and data entry.
Experience in payroll preparation, Superannuation, Payroll tax and Workcover reporting structure.
Experience and knowledge of GST and BAS preparation.
Understanding of income tax and FBT
Maintaining fixed assets registers for Book & Tax.
Preparation of Financial statements and cash flows for management

Duty

Included but not limited to

Preparation of weekly wages using MYOB. Preparation of Payroll journals and data entry in SAP Business One.
Preparation of monthly salaries for Australian and international operations.
Provide and lodge payroll information for Workcover calculation.
Updating MYOB for new employees and employment arrangements.
Prepare and execute Superannuation lodgement.
Reconciliation of ATO payroll records with MYOB.
Reconciliation of employee leave liabilities.
Preparation and lodgement of BAS.
Payroll tax preparation and lodgement monthly and annual reconciliation.
Reconciliation of USD bank account and FX gains and losses calculations.
Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and offsets.
Review GL accounts regularly and correct anomalies.
Reconcile SAP subledgers i.e. Inventory, Trade debtors Trade creditors, Accrued stock purchases, Employee Reimbursement.
Assistance with trouble shooting and corrections.
Preparation of monthly financial statements and cash flow.
Assistance and sourcing information for monthly reports.
Assistance with FBT return, Income tax return and R&D preparation.
Assistance with end of Financial Year accounts preparation.
