About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our high‑performing Sydney M&A team. In this role, you will work closely with the Office Managing Partner as well as a broader group of fee earners, where your strong organisational skills and proactive approach will be highly valued and make a meaningful impact.

You'll be the go-to person for coordination and support, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client service. This role calls for a confident professional with strong judgment, discretion, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end calendar coordination and travel arrangements
Managing sensitive and confidential correspondence
Planning and delivering events, including all logistical requirements
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Matter file administration, including opening/closing files and digital document management
Preparing monthly bills, client reports, and processing invoices
Corporate card (AMEX) expense reconciliation
Day-to-day administrative support including printing and filing
Ad hoc tasks and projects as they arise

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
Outstanding ability to organise workloads and prioritise effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
Proven track record of supporting multiple senior leaders simultaneously
Composure and resilience when working under pressure with competing deadlines
Meticulous eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
A positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs
