About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Administration Officer – Level 3 to join our Medical Imaging team. This role is an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, providing administrative support that enables the smooth and efficient operation of our imaging service for patients, families and staff.
As the first point of contact for the department, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, helping patients navigate their imaging appointments, and ensuring accurate and timely management of records in a busy clinical environment.

In this role, you will:

Provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, both face-to-face and by telephone
Book, coordinate and manage imaging appointments across modalities, liaising with radiographers, sonographers and referring clinicians
Deliver a broad range of administrative and clerical support, including admissions, transfers, discharges and record management
Manage correspondence, filing, typing, deliveries, pickups and stores management to support the smooth running of the department
Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality and legislative requirements
Assist with more complex tasks or projects, and provide relief for other staff as required
Support the manager and team with quality improvement activities to ensure ongoing improvement in local processes

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

Experience working in a similar support role within a complex organisation, as an effective team member
Ability to make good decisions about work priorities and achieve key tasks effectively in a busy work area
Strong communication skills, with attention to detail when engaging with managers, colleagues, patients and members of the public
Demonstrated high-level computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft and Windows-based applications, email systems and/or other information and record-keeping systems
Understanding of, and commitment to, providing excellent customer service, including the maintenance of patient privacy and confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to show initiative with known work procedures, and the ability to work under broad supervision
