Full Job Description

Braham Produce is a grower of premium quality capsicums on the Northern Adelaide Plains utilising both leading edge technology and environmental practices including Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Braham Produce supplies high-end capsicums across Australia.

Qualifications & experience

The successful applicant must have attention to detail with a can-do attitude and will need to demonstrate experience and competence in:
Experience in horticultural operations/farm management
Cultural adaptability and willingness to work with diverse range of stakeholders
A willingness to be hands on and participate in a broad range of duties, a strong work ethic is essential
Forklift license
Driver's license
Good communication skills
Ability and willingness to work outdoors, in all kinds of weather conditions.
ChemCert certification

Tasks & responsibilities

Pre-plant set up. Planting and pruning operations
Crop maintenance, crop scouting and monitoring using IPM
Inspection of crops to determine yield and suitability for harvest
Packing, grading & record keeping
Staff management
Maintain work, health & safety practices
All requirements as directed to achieve business objectives
Achieve KPI
Understand and monitor climate & irrigation

Pay: From $71,550.00 per year
