Qualifications & experience
- The successful applicant must have attention to detail with a can-do attitude and will need to demonstrate experience and competence in:
- Experience in horticultural operations/farm management
- Cultural adaptability and willingness to work with diverse range of stakeholders
- A willingness to be hands on and participate in a broad range of duties, a strong work ethic is essential
- Forklift license
- Driver's license
- Good communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work outdoors, in all kinds of weather conditions.
- ChemCert certification
Tasks & responsibilities
- Pre-plant set up. Planting and pruning operations
- Crop maintenance, crop scouting and monitoring using IPM
- Inspection of crops to determine yield and suitability for harvest
- Packing, grading & record keeping
- Staff management
- Maintain work, health & safety practices
- All requirements as directed to achieve business objectives
- Achieve KPI
- Understand and monitor climate & irrigation
Pay: From $71,550.00 per year
