THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse at BaptistCare Northaven Community, you’ll provide safe, high-quality, person-centred clinical care while leading and supporting the care team around you. This is a role with real clinical responsibility and real human connection.
Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care that keeps residents’ health, wellbeing, and dignity at the centre
Lead and support care staff, ensuring practice is within scope and standards are upheld
Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
Ensure safe and compliant medication management
Contribute actively to continuous improvement and clinical governance
Maintain your own professional development and currency within your scope of practice
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for Registered Nurses who are at the beginning of their RN career, from Grade 1 through to Grade 2 Year 1, and who are passionate about providing exceptional care in a supportive aged care environment.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Suitable for Registered Nurses from Grade 1 through to Grade 2 Year 1.
Availability to work PM shifts across all 7 days of the week, with AM shifts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as required.
Previous aged care experience is highly regarded but not essential.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Experience in aged care or with elderly people (highly regarded but not essential)
Confident clinical leadership — you’re comfortable guiding a care team and holding the standard
Strong communicator — clear, respectful, and consistent with residents, families, and staff
Comfortable with basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Proof of working rights in Australia
