Sweet Speech Pathways is a growing private practice providing neurodiversity-affirming speech pathology services to children and families across South West Sydney. Working across our Harrington Park clinic, schools and preschools, we deliver meaningful, evidence-based therapy that celebrates every child's strengths and supports families to achieve functional outcomes.

The Role

As our Senior Speech Pathologist, you'll manage a varied paediatric caseload across speech, language, literacy, AAC, social communication, fluency and neurodevelopmental presentations while also playing an important leadership role within the practice.

You will be responsible for:

Billable KPI of 26 hours a week
Provide clinical guidance through case reviews and collaborative problem solving..
Assist with onboarding and developing new team members..
Contribute to clinical resources, systems and service improvements..
Help maintain our high standard of neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred care.
Mentor and support Early Career Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants..

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership but still loves working directly with children and families.

Salary & Benefits

$100,000-$110,000 + Super (12%), depending on experience (5 to 7 years)
Annual salary reviews with opportunities for progression as your leadership responsibilities grow.
$2,500 annual Professional Development allowance..
Continued clinical mentoring and leadership support, through fortnightly 1:1 with the director
As the Director and Speech Pathologist, I'm passionate about creating a workplace where you will feel supported to grow and provide meaningful outcomes for clients. My experience spans paediatrics, private practice, NDIS, hospitals, and residential aged care, providing a broad clinical perspective. I value lifelong learning and regularly engage in professional development, including training in LAMP Words for Life, PROMPT, and the Dysphagia Management Staging Scale (DMSS/DDMS). I'm committed to continually developing my skills while supporting the growth of those around me.
Travel reimbursement for community appointments.
Birthday leave in addition to annual leave.
Quarterly team days and regular social events.
Opportunities to progress into future leadership positions such as Clinical Lead as the practice continues to grow.

About You

You'll bring:

Minimum 5 years experience as a Speech Pathologist working with paediatric clients.
Confidence managing a varied caseload independently.
A passion for mentoring and supporting developing clinicians.
Excellent communication, organisation and clinical reasoning skills.
A collaborative approach and genuine desire to contribute to team culture.
An interest in neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based practice.

You'll also hold:

Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
Speech Pathology Australia Certified Practising Membership.
Current Working with Children Check.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
National Police Check.
Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a vehicle.
