Job description:

Tuncurry Beach Bowling Club, part of the St Johns Park Bowling Club Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing quality food, enjoys working as part of a supportive team and thrives in a busy hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook quality meals with consistency and attention to presentation.
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team.
Complete food preparation and assist with smooth and efficient service.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, allergen and WHS requirements.
Assist with stock rotation, storage and minimising food wastage.
Contribute to a positive, respectful and team-focused kitchen culture.

About You:

Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
Relevant cookery qualifications.
Passion for quality food and customer satisfaction.
Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Above all, you’ll take pride in great food, great service and building a kitchen team that works well together.
