Print Production Assistant (with Basic Design Skills)

We’re a small, family-owned DTF & Garment Printing business located in Bayswater, VIC.

Important Note before applying: This role is 70% machine operation/production and 30% graphic handling. If you are looking for a pure office-based, creative graphic design role, this will not be the right fit. We are looking for a hands-on individual who doesn't mind working in a print shop environment.

The Role:

Operate and manage DTF (Direct to Film) printers and heat press machines for garment printing.
Perform daily printer cleaning, maintenance, and ink management.
Modify, fix, and prepare customer graphic designs to meet print-ready specifications (e.g., background removal, vectorizing, resizing, gang-run setup).
Assist with finishing, packing, and general sign/garment manufacturing duties.

Qualifications:

Experience or good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a production line.
Comfortable with physical tasks (handling printer consumables, heat pressing, standing for periods).
Great attitude, eager to learn, and reliable.
